Through Patterned Person I explore the relationship between intention and improvisation. This creation is about embracing the natural dialogue between materials. During this intuitive interaction, the marks made by wet materials had the power to transform the paper's surface into a living canvas. A visual conversation emerged between calculated structure and organic spontaneity - a realm where patterns became anchors and mysteries. Here, the interplay between colours and textures hints at the semblance of a face or mask, a fleeting portrait woven from abstract elements.
