Rear View Mirror was created in response to the pandemic. The symbolism of the “rain/rainbows” in the rear view mirror shapes reflect the incredible tragedy of COVID-19 but reminds us that lessons were learned during this time we should not soon forget. Don’t go to work sick. The healing of the environment through less commuting. Don’t stand too close if you don’t need to. Etc. In this piece I’ve used pattern to created movement, and add symbolism.
